1. Install & start XMING in windows





2. Enable X11 in SSH client (or switch -X on)


3. Config X11 configuration in /etc/ssh/ssh_config sshd_config
(refer to pages/files mentioned at top)

4. Open SSH session and enter gnome-session 
(if failed then execute the following instead)


export XKL_XMODMAP_DISABLE=1
unset SESSION_MANAGER
unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS

gnome-panel &
gnome-settings-daemon &
metacity &
nautilus &
gnome-terminal &
5. See the XMING window
